Chai Tea?

antioxidant benefits
Chipmunk asked:

I’m drinking a lovely chai tea (for any of you who go to Starbucks, I’m drinking one of their chai tea lattes) right now and I was thinking…are there any heath benefits I could get from chai? Do they have antioxidants (spelling?) like green tea does? I’m just curious. For anyone who has the facts, please tell! Thanks!

I love Starbucks’ green tea latte (nonfat) with raspberry syrup. I think all tea has antioxidants but green tea is especially high.

Black chai has tein.it release your water and mineral from your body more than it must. inside, it has a antioxinans. but green tea is very good. but you shouldn’t drink more a cup a day.

Any tea has benefits, but they are superimposed by adding high fat milk or cream, and flavourings.
I just find it so odd that it’s call chai tea. The word ‘chai’ means tea, so you are drinking tea tea. Just strange.

Chai tea is merely a black tea with cardamon, and cinnamon,
and a few other spices. All black and green teas are bene-
ficial in minimizing the risk for cancer, according to the info
    in magazines and on TV.
