It doesn’t matter when you drink the tea. The best way to get the catechins and other flavonoids in tea is to drink it freshly brewed. Decaffeinated, bottled ready-to-drink tea preparations, and instant teas have less of these compounds.

you can drink it anytime with or without food. in chinese tradition, it is best drank before the meals. it has a lot of antioxidants that helps the body flush out dirt. it also stimulates peristalsis for regular bowel movement.

I think it’ll probably be best after you eat. I drink it before and after. Drinking it after eating washes down the food.

if your looking to loose weight then you should drink boiled water with apple cider vinegar in it every morning before breakfast then feel the results after 2 weeks but along with that try to eat more salads and vegetables.

I’m sitting here in China with my best friend, who is Chinese, and she says you should drink it right after you eat. She also says you’d should include rosebud tea (made from dried rosebuds), which are used in Chinese medicine to reduce the fat from what you’ve just eaten.

idk. but there were surveys, and men that drank green tea didn’t rate so high with cancer.

mind you, did they survey everything else in their life? It might have been because of something else they had in common….

    anyway, that’s what I’m told.

Green tea is good in the afternoon and straight before or after lunch. Ordinary tea or hot chocolate are good before bed. Ordinary tea just in the morning. Good idea to ask - all these drinks actually have a purpose (milk encourages a chemical to release in your brain, that makes you tired. That’s why parents give children milk to get them to sleep, and why we nestle down on a sofa with a hot chocolate.

Tea (ordinary) with sugar makes you sleepier, tea without sugar makes you more awake. I don’t get it, but it does. unless you put in HEAPS of sugar (rather than just a level spoon). Milk in tea takes a lot of the proteins away, well… cancels them out. Good luck

upon rising drink organic green tea. During sleep your body is detoxing and you are “fasting”. The first thing you should put in your body is something healthy like water or green tea. If you wait until lunch to drink green tea, you already have food reniments from eariler. Drinking green tea upon sunrise come be very relaxing too.

If you drink a specific green tea designed for weight loss, like power tea, then the best time is before exercise. It gets you pumped up and gives you the energy to have a great workout.

If you’re using green tea alone then you’re probably better off drinking it after a meal
